Ty Watling is a virtuoso guitarist and songwriter from Kent. He released his first solo album 'Fruitful Harvest' in 2012 and in recent years has moved to Ramsgate on the Kent coast where has had the opportunity to write a lot more.
Over the past 15 years he has been fortunate enough to open for many great folk and country Artists including Richard Thompson, Julie Felix, Martin Simpson, Emily Barker, and many more.
His latest Album 'The satisfaction of knowing' was released Feb 2023. It features some of the uk's finest musicians including Ned Cartwright on Piano and Sax and Chris Jones on Drums. With sublime artwork by the wonderful Joni Belaruski.
Ty played at Rosslyn Court with Gabriel Moreno which can be seen at https://www.rosslyncourt.com/livestreams and also in collaboration with Rosslyn Court, performed at the Margate Songbook concerts at ARK.
